Team MX3 was excited to be a part of the first solo concert of heartthrob Alden Richards entitled Upsurge. The queue started as early in the afternoon as eager fans await on the matinee star at the Kia Theater. The sold out concert last May 27 brought together fans of all ages and from different corners of the country. They braved the heavy rains and the traffic to see the soulful performance of Alden.
Before the concert, MX3 delighted the crowd with MX3 Hooray Game on stage. Ten participants were able to add to the excitement of the night as the crowd cheered for them. They brought home exciting prizes from MX3. A number of avid followers of the MX3 Facebook page also won tickets to the concert as well as signed CDs of Alden.
One of the highlights of the night was the inspirational sharing of Bro. Alvin Barcelona. He meaningfully shared to the thousands in the crowd his life changing story and how the good news of our salvation has transformed him to become an instrument of God. The audience listened intently as he shared significant verses to convict the heart of the crowd to draw near to the word of God and open their hearts to hear the gospel.
It was indeed a night to remember, a night filled with songs and an evening of a showcase of talents. It was a night where lives were touched and souls were won all for God’s greater glory.
